- My name is Sophia Chen. I am a freelance interpreter living in Shanghai China at the moment. My native language is Chinese. I speak in Chinese & English fluently. I was born in Guangdong province(Southern China). I graduated from Shantou University in 2003. International Business & Foreign Trade English is my major subject while I was at university. After graduation I worked as administrative secretary for an US company in Changzhou Jiangsu province. I moved to Beijing in 2004 to start my freelance interpreter work. Then I thought there might be more work opportunities in Shanghai, So I moved to Shanghai since 2005 March.
